Installing Acrylic Lettering and Numbers
There are many different ways to install these numbers and letters depending on the surface you have and size. For example, if you have letters under 6” you can get away with double sided tape for indoor installation. Anytime you are outside we suggest you use any form of stud mounting to really anchor into the wall. This is a must for large letters that are heavier, for safety reasons you want to make sure they do not fall. When attaching to any wall, board or other flat surface you can use standoff spacers to give the sign a little depth especially if you are using thinner acrylic. The spacers come from ¼-1” and can look really great. With the standoff you have the option to put led lighting behind the letter to get that glow look at night if your sign is outdoors. When using stud mounting to install please use 100% pure silicone in the hole to hold everything in place. If you need more instruction or have questions a specialist is always around to help you with your acrylic sign letters. Please call us or email.

Next dropdown in the size, be sure to measure you are first to make sure you order the correct size. Nothing worse than buying and it’s too small or large. Next choose the way you will be installing. I spoke about this before if you still have questions about an uneven surface or something else please call us. Now you need to choose the thickness of the letter. They range from ¼ inch to 1 inch thick. The smaller thickness is pigmented while the larger is painted. That brings us to the last dropdown which is color. Click on the right where we have color charts. This will make the image bigger when you can get a good look at each. If you want a color that is not there please contact us for custom colors. Now in the box put all text you want either numbers or letters. We provide an estimate on width but if its going to be a tight fit give us a call for an exact. Then hit add to cart. Answer: Acrylic is solid Acrylic that is laser cut. What is Plain Mount
Answer: Plain Mount is no mounting or hardware. You would use an epoxy to the back of the letters to adhere the letters to your surface.
What is Pad Mount
Answer: Pad Mount is where we glue pads on back of the letters. You would use epoxy to the pads to adhere them to your surface.
What is Stud Mount?
Answer: Stud mount is where we drill holes in the back of the acrylic letters and provide you with the stud (screw). We do a blind stud mount, where you will not see any screws or holes on the face of the letters. To install, drill your holes in your surface, put epoxy in the holes and slide the letters into the holes. We do recommend the Install Pattern, which will help install the letters straight and evenly spaced. The pattern will show you exactly where to drill the holes.
What is Stud Mount with Pads?
Answer: The pads on the studs will create an adjustable standoff. You would screw the pads up or down the studs to create the standoff you need.
