Installation Process

Many of our customers are curious as to the difficulty of actual installing an aluminum letter. Fortunately it’s a very easy process and you don’t need to be a professional to install them properly. With your household tools and our instructions you can have a professional quality sign installed in under an hour. Of course since your sign will be one of the first thing your customers see you’ll want to be careful and patient with the process. First off I would take out the installation pattern that we suggest getting when you checkout. This will prove you the correct spacing along with where the stud mounts will be. Make sure this is straight on the surface you will be mounting on. Once aligned and measured you will drill holes for the stud mounts into your surface. The pattern shows you exactly where these go. Once all holes are drill use 100% pure silicone in the holes and slide the letters in one by one. The mounts will secure the letters and silicone will help keep in place and create a nice seal. If you have never installed these before we suggest seeking out a handy man or sign installer depending on the size you have. We’re glad to help with any questions about the install process just give us a call and we’ll get you the information you need.

Our ordering process is very user friendly, first you will select your font from the drop down on the top. Each font name is written in its font. This is so you can get an idea on the look and feel of different metal letters. There are many to choose from and as you can see from the examples so only come in capital letters. Next comes the size, we suggest measuring the area you want to put your sign and then cutting out paper letters to make sure they are not too big or small before you purchase. This way you have a life size example so you are not shocked when they arrive. Next comes the type of installation. Plain mounting are for small letters if you are indoors and going to use double sided tape. We do not suggest this type of mounting as its only tape holding but certain places this is the only option. The rest are studs that are on the back of the letter, the spacing is if you want the sign to come off the surface and how much. Next is the thickness, our base letters go up to 1” and if you are looking for thicker please give us a call. Next step in the color, we have the natural aluminum along with polishes and powder coats. If you wanted an actual color click on the color chart on the right hand side to enlarge the photo and give you a better idea of the shades we have. Once everything is choose put in your letters in the box and you will see below an approximate length, if you need an exact please call us.
